Description

The bank was designed by Edward Gabriel of the architectural firm Edmeston and Gabriel, and was completed in 1912. The painting is signed 'C W E' and dated 1908, four years before the building's completion, indicating that this was very much a design drawing for the building. This photograph was commissioned by Edmeston and Gabriel.
