Description

This office building of 1908, designed by architect John Dunn, was constructed in Portland Stone with its columns made from Peterhead Granite. On the ground floor, the pedestals were carved with the insignia of the Duke of Norfolk on whose land Norfolk Street once stood. The Bedford Lemere daybook records that the photograph was taken to show the building in perspective.
