Description

This grand terraced house, built between 1807-16, was later remodelled between 1903-7 by architect Andrew Noble Prentice. The photograph, one of a series, was taken for T B Clarke and the interior decorators Gillow & Co. The house was the London home of mining magnate Leopold Albu, but since 1938 has been the address of the Royal Aeronautical Society.
