Description

The Waldorf Hotel was built in 1907-8 to designs by AGR Mackenzie, and was part of the redevelopment of the Aldwych area. The photograph was commissioned by H King & Sons, possibly builders Hamilton King & Sons, although Waring White were the building contractors for the site.
