Description
The Bedford Lemere daybook records that the photograph was taken at 2.35pm for hosiers and outfitters Swears & Wells whose 'Lilliputian Warehouse' was in numbers 190-196. The photograph was also taken for William Woodward who was one of the architects to design the building that subsequently replaced this one.
