Description

Thackley Open Air School, located in Buck Wood, Thackley, was designed by R G Kirby for the Bradford Corporation. It had south facing open-fronted classrooms and was designed to provide education and care for children recovering from illnesses. It first opened to pupils in Summer 1908 and later closed in 1939.
