Description

The Bedford Lemere daybook records the club as the Automobile Club, however, at the time the photograph was taken it was now known as the Royal Automobile Club, having received its Royal title in 1907 from King Edward VII. The architects of the Royal Automobile Club were Charles Mewes and Arthur Davis with E K Purchase.
