Description
The photograph was taken for manufacturing and furnishing ironmongers William Baily & Sons who had moved premises from 71 Gracechurch Street to 54 Gracechurch Street on 23rd August 1910, as advertised on the posters at ground floor level.
Archival History
The Bedford Lemere daybook records the address as 70 Gracechurch Street, but due to the eveidence in the photograph and directories this is believed to be an error and should have been recorded as 71 Gracechurch Street.
