Description

Walham Green station (now known as Fulham Broadway) was opened in March 1880 as part of the District Railway. The original building was replaced in 1910 with one by Harry W Ford. Ford's station is a steel framed structure clad in terracotta. The ticket hall shown in this photograph, taken for the Leeds Fireclay Company, features an arcade of 5 bays, a glass roof and a row of shops.
