Description

The Automobile Club of Great Britain was founded in 1897 as a private gentlemen's club to encourage the use of motor vehicles in Britain and campaign for the rights of the motorist. King Edward VII awarded the Royal title in 1907. In 1911 the club moved to these newly built premises in Pall Mall, which they still occupy to this day.
