This Victorian house now forms part of Hayes School, which moved into the mansion in 1956. J Railton is recorded as the client for this photograph in the Bedford Lemere daybook, which also gives Swan and Norman as the architects. James Henry Swan worked in partnership with Geoffrey Norman from 1902.
