Description

201 Wardour Street is part of a complex of shops and offices including 53-54 Berwick Street and 133-135 Oxford Street. Designed by Simpson and Ayrton in an eclectic Edwardian Baroque style and constructed in 1911, the exterior facades of Pembroke House are clad in cast stone. The entry in the Bedford Lemere daybook records John William Simpson as the architect and A Whitehead as the client.
