Description

This photograph was taken for H and W Nelson Limited who were pioneers in the shipping of refrigerated goods, primarily cargos of meat from the Argentine to Britain. Highland Mary was built for the Nelson Line in 1891 and sold to Blue Star Line in 1911, after which she was renamed Brodland.
