Description

This early 20th century bank was designed by architects Woolfall & Eccles for whom the photograph was also taken. The bank later became a branch of Midland Bank and later still HSBC.

Archival History

The Bedford Lemere daybook has recorded Allerton, Yorks as the location. This is an error as the bank is on Allerton Road, Liverpool.
