Description

This photograph was taken for Sir John Benn, leader of the Progressive Party and grandfather of Anthony Wedgwood Benn. The house, formerly known as the Knoll (1798), was divided in 1903. Sir John purchased one part of the divided house, which became known as the Old Knoll.
