Description

The photograph was taken for the architect John James Burnet, who was involved in the building of Aldwych in the early 20th century. During this redevelopment a number of old streets were demolished and in this view you can see advertising hoardings covering the front and sides of one of few remaining buildings on the Aldwych site.
