Description

The gentlemen's club White's was founded by Francis White in 1693 as a chocolate house. It later moved to numbers 37-38 with this building dating from 1787-8. The club is one of several photographed by Bedford Lemere & Co for cigarette manufacturers and importers of Havana cigars, Philip Morris & Co.
