Description

The Royal Liver Building, erected in 1908-11, was designed by architect Aubrey Thomas. The Bedford Lemere daybook records that the photograph was taken for A & F Manuelle, quarry owners and stone merchants, who presumably supplied the granite in which the building is clad.
