Description

The photograph was taken for John Tanner & Son, later renamed T R Rudd, John Tanner & Son (London) Ltd., a firm of fibrous plasterers. On the back of the print associated with this photograph, the plaques are recorded as being used at the new His Majesty's Theatre, Manchester; the new London Opera House; the new Princes Theatre, London. The pilasters and centrepiece are recorded as being used at the new His Majesty's Theatre, Manchester.
