Description

The Bedford Lemere daybook records the architect as Harry E Rider. Dudley House, which includes 171 Piccadilly was designed in 1905 by William Woodward. It is probable that Harry Edwin Rider (1880-1916) remodelled the shopfront or interior of the premises. This photograph was taken for "S H Benson", likely to be a reference to the advertising agency SH Benson Limited.
