Description

The theatre opened in 1891 and was then renovated in 1913 by theatre architect Bertie Crewe. This photograph was taken for fibrous plasterers John Tanner & Son, later renamed T R Rudd, John Tanner & Son (London) Ltd, who were presumably involved in carrying out some of the renovation work.
