Description

RMS Aquitania was launched on 21st April 1913 and undertook her maiden voyage to New York in May 1914, a month before the outbreak of the First World War. After military service in both World Wars, she was scrapped in 1950. The photograph was taken for W G Wakeham, possibly joinery manufacturer William George Wakeham (Kelly's Directory of London, 1918).
