Description

The hotel opened as the Richmond Hill Hotel in 1865 as was later renamed The Mansion Hotel. During the 20th century further name changes followed including the 'New Star and Garter Hotel', 'The Star and Garter' and 'Nightingale Hall'. It is now known as the Petersham Hotel. A C Hutchins commissioned the photograph.
