Description

This view shows the hall after alterations undertaken by G A Crawley in 1914. By 1918 Aldford House was in use as an American Naval Hospital, made available to the American Red Cross by Mrs Frederick Guest. This photograph was taken for Captain Frederick E Guest M.P.. At the time of the photograph, the house was number 26 Park Lane, but the site is now numbered 64-72 Park Lane.
