Description

The hotel was designed by W C Ansell, and after his death, Henry Tanner junior and F J Wills. The construction of the hotel started in 1912 and it opened in 1915. The photograph was taken for Leeds Fireclay Company, specialists in architectural ceramics and whose 'Burmantofts Marmo' was used to clad the building.
