Description

Australia House, referred to as 'Commonwealth Building' in the Bedford Lemere daybooks, was designed by the architects A Marshall Mackenzie and Son and incorporated into the existing Government of Victoria Offices (1907-1909). Construction, by Dove Brothers, took place between 1913-1918, with completion delayed by World War I.
