Description

Nethercoat & Co were chandlers and sailmakers who during the First World War also made ammunition carriers and tents at their East Works and West Works. This photograph, showing men making rope handles for the carriers, was commissioned by Nethercoat & Co and also R Terrell & Company, engineers.
