Description

This country house of 1906, which later burnt down in 1933, was designed by architect Ernest Newton and modelled on William and Mary period architecture. The Bedford Lemere daybook records that the photograph was taken for Mr Smith of builders Trollope and Colls Limited and that the owner of the house was Mr H H Konig, banker.
