Gloucester House stood at the junction of Piccadilly and Old Park Lane. Lord Elgin used the house to exhibit the marble sculptures removed from the Parthenon shortly before their purchase for the nation in 1816. It was demolished in 1904. This is a copy of an earlier photograph taken by H T Amon, assumed to be Horace Tiltman Amon.
