Description

The Cunard Building was erected between 1913-1916 to the designs of Willink & Thickness with Arthur Davies of Mewes & Davies as consultant. The Bedford Lemere daybook lists Mewes & Davies as the architects, suggesting that they may have been responsible for the drawing. The Cunard Steamship Company commissioned the photograph.
