This photograph is one of three taken for auctioneers St Quintin, Son & Stanley showing buildings previously occupied by German-owned banks which, presumably, were vacated as a consequence of the First World War. In 1915, the Dresdner Bank was registered at 65 Old Broad Street, however, the numbers beside the entrance to the building shown are 66 and 68.
