J B Cramer and Company were a London based piano manufacturing firm with showrooms around the capital. The Bedford Lemere daybook records that this photograph was taken for Miss Ella Malcolm at "Cramer's Ken", which may refer to the factory in Kentish Town or their showroom in Kensington.
