The manor house dates to the sixteenth century, with the main body of the present house dating to the mid seventeenth century. There were alterations made between 1905 and 1914, and again from 1917 - 1930, making it plausible that these images were taken before alteration works were carried out.
The daybook records that the images were taken for J W Wood and Company, who it is likely were architects builders involved in the alterations.
