Description

The photograph is one of a set showing City Livery Halls, taken by Bedford Lemere & Co. The hall was built in 1670 after the original building was destroyed in the Great Fire of London. In 1914-16, the Trinity Lane front was reconstructed but in 1941 the building was destroyed by fire in the Blitz. A new hall was built on the site in 1961.
