Description

The photograph is one of a set showing City Livery Halls, taken by Bedford Lemere & Co. Joiner's Hall was situated in Joiners' Hall Buildings opposite Little College Street. The original hall was destroyed in the Great Fire of London, was rebuilt several times between 1680 and 1811 and in 1812 was rebuilt as a warehouse which was eventually destroyed in the Second World War.
