Description

The photograph is one of a set showing City Livery Halls, taken by Bedford Lemere & Co. The Cordwainers' Hall was designed in a Northern European baroque style by H Chatfeild Clarke of the architectural firm, T Chatfeild Clarke & Son. The building was later destroyed during the Second World War.
