Description

The photograph was taken for Robert Alexander Dickson, slate merchant, who formed a partnership called Lordship Lane Billiard Halls Company Ltd with Palmer & Sons, billiard table manufacturers. The hall was built in 1892 (BL24365 shows a dated window) and was located on the west side of Wood Vale close to the junction with Lordship Lane.
