In the Bedford Lemere daybook, 'Goldman' is recorded as the client who commissioned this photograph and in the notes column, the name of Ivon Dewynter (advertising agents) has also been recorded. 'Goldman' is believed to be Michael Goldman of Ciro Pearls Ltd, costume jewellers, who in 1918 were registered at this address.
