Description

These offices, designed by Beresford Pite, were built in 1906-8 as the headquarters of the London, Edinburgh and Glasgow Assurance Company and were also offices for the National Amalgamated Approved Society, a joint venture of assurance societies founded in 1912. The photograph was taken for G N Haden & Sons Ltd, heating engineers, who presumably installed a heating system in the building.
