Description

This late Victorian terraced house dates from 1879 and was designed by R Norman Shaw. This photograph was commissioned by George Trollope & Sons, builders and decorators. A Blue Plaque was subsequently erected here to George Frederick Samuel Robinson, Marquess of Ripon (1827 - 1909), Viceroy of India, who lived here from 1890 until his death.
