Description

Although the Services Club was registered at 19 Stratford Place in 1918, they also appear to have been using numbers 16-19 Stratford Place. This photograph also shows numbers 18 and 17 to the right. In the Bedford Lemere daybook, the horse-drawn carriage shown is recorded as 'Derby Coach' which may be a name for the carriage, or could be describing a carriage transporting people to The Derby at Epsom.
