Description

Sir Christopher Wren rebuilt St Clement Danes Church in 1680-82 with additions by James Gibbs in the early 18th century. The church was gutted by enemy action during the Second World War, but restored in the 1950s. The photograph was taken for the rector of the church, Reverend Pennington-Bickford.
