Description

The Little Theatre in the Adelphi was constructed in 1910 in a derelict banking hall, originally designed by the Adam Brothers. The theatre was bombed in 1917; this photograph shows the building following the bombing and before it was rebuilt in 1920. The photograph was taken for the architects, Hayward and Maynard, who were responsible for its reconstruction.
