Description

The Bedford Lemere daybook records that the architect of the house was L Stanley Crosbie, and that the building contractors were F M Thompson and Sons Limited. It is unclear which party was the actual paying client for the image.

The house was the filming location for an episode of the 1960s television series; the exterior of 1 Buckingham Place was the location used as Patrick McGoohan's character's London home.
