Description

The relief is rendered in a style reminiscent of Assyrian relief sculpture. The Bedford Lemere daybook records that the architect of the house was L Stanley Crosbie, and that the building contractors were F M Thompson and Sons Limited. It is unclear which party was the actual paying client for the image.
