Description

Now known as Kentlands, Small Downs House was newly built when photographed here. It was constructed using materials reclaimed from two 17th century houses and timbers taken from dismantled barns. The architect was Charles H Biddulph-Pinchard and the photograph was commissioned by politician Frederick Leverton Harris, whose home this was.
