Description

In 1917, the old centre of the city was destroyed by fire. Subsequently, a group of architects, including Thomas H Mawson, were employed to redesign the city. The photograph of the drawing was taken for Thomas H Mawson & Son, architects, whose name is written in the bottom left corner.
