Description

The hostel was erected with funds from The Ladies' Guild of the British & Foreign Sailors' Society and was opened in 1924. The hostel is said to have been designed by T Brammall Daniel and Horace W Parnacott, although this drawing is signed T Brammall Daniel and the Bedford Lemere daybook only records his name as the client for the photograph.
