Description

This large office building, constructed between 1915 and 1920, was designed by the architect Herbert Austen Hall, for whom the photograph was also likely to have been taken. The French Classical style building incorporated earlier interior rooms and fittings, such as the Old Oak Room here pictured. This room dates to the late seventeenth century and was formerly the Board Room of Water House.
