Description

This Georgian town house was built by Robert Adam in 1769-71 for the 3rd Duke of Chandos. When this photograph was taken for house agents Curtis & Henson, the house was leased by Cora, Countess of Stafford. In the early 21st century it was restored and this room, recorded as the morning room in the Bedford Lemere daybook, has subsequently been renamed the Robert Adam Room.
